81% da Geração Z no Brasil deixa de usar apps por preocupações com privacidade, diz pesquisa
Estudo da Luzia revela crescente desconfiança dos jovens em relação ao uso de dados pessoais por grandes empresas de tecnologia

Uma pesquisa conduzida pela Luzia, plataforma de assistente de inteligência artificial (IA) no WhatsApp, revelou que 81% dos usuários brasileiros da Geração Z deixaram de usar aplicativos devido a preocupações com privacidade.
Realizado em toda a América Latina, o estudo destaca a crescente desconfiança entre os jovens sobre a falta de controle sobre seus dados pessoais; 72% dos entrevistados manifestaram sérias preocupações sobre como as grandes empresas de tecnologia utilizam suas informações sem consentimento, especialmente no treinamento de IA.
A pesquisa, que envolveu mil entrevistados em toda a América Latina, com 58,7% deles no Brasil, se concentrou no comportamento da Geração Z, dividida em 51,45% de usuários entre 13 e 17 anos, 14,48% entre 18 e 24 anos e 34,07% entre 25 e 30 anos.
Entre os principais achados da pesquisa, destacam-se:
- 74% desconheciam que algumas big techs utilizam seus dados para treinar modelos de IA.
- 60% não autorizariam seus apps favoritos a utilizarem dados para treinamento de IA.
- 81% deixaram de usar aplicativos devido a preocupações com privacidade.
- 72% estão preocupados com a falta de controle sobre a utilização de seus dados.
- 61% usariam outras plataformas se estas oferecessem melhor privacidade de dados.
