As oportunidades profissionais usufruídas pelos ex-alunos ou a inserção deles no mercado de trabalho, o apoio que a escola de negócios oferece em termos de carreira e, claro, a reputação da instituição diante dos recrutadores também devem entrar na equação para decidir qual programa de MBA é mais adequado para as suas necessidades profissionais.
O ranking das melhores escolas de negócios da Bloomberg Businessweek tenta abarcar todos estes itens. Entre os principais critérios analisados está a qualidade do ensino, dos serviços de apoio a carreira, desenvolvimento de habilidade de liderança e pensamento crítico durante o MBA , além do nível dos colegas de classe.
Para saber quais são as melhores nestes quesitos, a publicação consultou mais de 27 mil ex-alunos de MBA dos Estados Unidos, Europa e Ásia, 663 recrutadores e analisou a pesquisa acadêmica do corpo docente de cada instituição publicada nos últimos cinco anos em 20 jornais científicos de prestígio.
Entre as americanas, a Booth School of Business, da Universidade de Chicago, levou o título de melhor escola de negócios – pela quarta vez consecutiva. Internacionalmente (e fora dos Estados Unidos) o título ficou para a London Business School.
